i remember playing a wily old man chess one time. actually many times and he always beats me. anyway i once surrounded him with all my pawns and he couldn't move anywhere. i was licking my chops coz finally i was gonna slaughter this guy. then i don't know how(i'm still in shock) he swung to one side and one by one ate up my pawns from behind. it was only a matter of time till he ate all my officers and of course my king. i was floored. i quit playing after that. too traumatized. me thinks after surrounding the russkies with our pawns all over the stans and the former eastern european communist states that we are gonna find ourselves checkmated big time here. and georgia is just the beginning. mind you we're playing against the supreme chessmaster and judo master here in putin.

Kind of like trading his knights for our pawns, Razputin is globally condemned, dissention by his queen is rising in Russia, Georgian feeling pride in standing up to them, the US and Western Europe and UN fodder to demean the agression. Checkmate of whom? Putin was played the fool, and "its a pity", he knows it. Bush captured his queen, and he dont even know it, with our little pawns.

Derrick, Georgia (backed by US armaments and "advisers") made the first move. Putin waited until he was sure the rest of the world (apart from the US, because all that wasn't reported in the US media) KNEW who was the aggressor. THEN he made his move. Wallop. CHECK. NATO is now a dead duck and everybody knows it. The eventual peace deal was brokered by France. The US Empire is crumbling both militarily and financially. The neo-nazis running the USA are trying to install a missile system in Poland directed at Russia. How aggressive is that ? Inviting attack. Imagine if Russia tried to install a missile system in Mexico directed at the USA ? Putin will outsmart Bush in the end. If you want the toilet called the US Govt and Financial System to be cleaned out, and honest money and integrity restored, Putin might just be your best hope. Think about it !

Bush and neo cons are using the Georgia incident to push for the installation of missiles in Poland. This ploy is so transparent the "chessmaster" could play this one with eyes closed. The Bay of Pigs incident was about the Soviet Union planning to install nuclear missiles in Cuba. Almost resulted in nuclear war. Putting anti missile batteries in Poland might at first seem a different kind of event. But unless Russia were deeply involved in the installation, and had full access to all details confirmed by having Russians on the ground working at the installations, and in charge, it would have to assume the potential for changing the missiles to offensive weapons existed. Missiles fired from Poland at Russian targets would have a flight time little more than missiles fired from Cuba at the USA. With the Sino/Russia mutual aid pac established, any attack on Russia would also be an attack on China. Anyway you look at it Bush and the neo cons have brought the US closer to the bar for nuclear war. But before that happens Russia and China will dump the USD, because afterwards the USD will be worthless. So we will know how this plays out very soon. Author Brown has comments about this very issue: http://www.webofdebt.com/articles/wag_the_dog.php "..“Washington’s bloody fingerprints are all over the invasion of South Ossetia. Georgia President Mikhail Saakashvili would never dream of launching a massive military attack unless he got explicit orders from his bosses at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. After all, Saakashvili owes his entire political career to American power-brokers and US intelligence agencies. If he disobeyed them, he’d be gone in a fortnight. Besides an operation like this takes months of planning and logistical support; especially if it’s perfectly timed to coincide with the beginning of the Olympic games. (another petty neocon touch) That means Pentagon planners must have been working hand in hand with Georgian generals for months in advance. Nothing was left to chance.”8 Part of that careful planning may have been the unprecedented propping up of the dollar and bombing of gold and oil the week before the curtain opened on the scene. Gold and oil had to be pushed down hard to give them room to rise before anyone shouted “hyperinflation!” As we watch the curtain rise on war in Eurasia, it is well to remember that things are not always as they seem. Markets are manipulated and wars are staged by Grand Chessmen behind the scenes. " I agree Putin is more than a match for Bush and neo cons. But checkmate may involve eliminating US influence in the region once and for all! It may also involve Bush and cronies setting the US up for a false flag event to usher in another phase of their "endless war" agenda, and martial law in the US!

If Bush did give a green light, as you indicate, and as I first suggested, IT WAS BRILLENT!! Bush moved his queen, Zeige Heil Gerda, this day, backing FOR SURE, Ukrainian and Georgian addission into NATO, that is now a done deal. Poland is going to sign interceptor positioning in Poland this day. The American Queen was standing behind the Georgian pawns. Yeah, right, Georgia advanced a pawn, Putin's king knight advance to mid board, never reaching the TBC pipeline in a half-hearted chicken-chit advance, and Putin's own Queen, domestic opinion is dismayed, Putin losing his queen, and Bush brought out the German queen to Georgia pledging Ukrainian and Georgia NATO membership, and Putin's Knight move rallied the western europe knights advancing on Ukraine and Georgia in a caucusus pincer move, with a French Bishop dancing around Putin's home row telling him what a naughty king he his, while cementing a NATO's rook interceptor in Poland, while Ukraine advance its pawns blocking black sea port use to the Russians. Yeah Right, Putin is the chess master? Putin did for NATO, what Bush and Georgia and Ukraine were unable to do, rally Western and Eastern Europe. Georgians made a fool out of Putin who took the bait, and rallied the EU pussies to Bush, Poland, Ukrainian and Georgian camps. Putin lost his domestic opinion queen to the French Bishop, and had German and US Queens in mid field in striking range backing the Georgian pawns, had a french Bishop in his back row, 2 turn-coat knights blocking his south Caucasus and southwest STEPS fronts, an intercepting ROOK on his western flank, and forward confronting adacious Ukranian and Georgian Pawns in his face confining his domain, back up with powerful queens. Putin will now move his advanced knight back in disgraceful retreat, or, violate another agreement with the French bishop, sealing the coffin of his queen. Looking like a pending check mate to me. With Gerda and Zarkosy leading in Western Europe, (now that those pussies Chirac and Schorder are gone), NATO is politically stronger, and now is not the time, (nor will it ever be again), for Putin to advance his knights. The Russian bear has been imprisoned once and for all, with this dumb move into middle Georgia. This is what you call in neocon speak, CORE MEMBERS SPANKING AN ARRENT CORE MEMBER. The confluence Marches on. With the US in the Pacific, with China and Mogolia and Kazackstan and Turkmenia having secured Asian southern borders, the only apparent avenue of Russia imperialism was into the Caucases, and that is now HISTORY, and Putin has been effectively blocked, confined, and under international focus with the Bear in a cage. Putin other area of expansion is the Artic, and he planted a flag there, but many other countries lay some claims as well. So, Putin is obviously trying to expand his realm, north in the Artic and Southwest in the Caucasus, so there ya go, the limitations. This is a good thing. And you people think Bush is a lame duck, ok, just repeat after me, I quack quack quack. =============== World wide political cartoons. Russia military move into Georgia, aint going down so well for Putin, as there is dissention rising in Russia against the move. http://mc-masters.livejournal.com/666244.html =============== There are those who say that West European blocking of US favored Georgian NATO membership was a signal to MOSCOW to launch in Georgia. Hell, German pussies in Aghanistan could be construed as such. But, that is BS. Then, they say that Missile deployment in Poland will block other's from joining NATO. BS These eastern european and Cacusus countries Georgia, Armenia, and Aberzanie, are affraid of the Russian Bear and want NATO membership or protection, and Western Europe, renown for their weak ways, are going softly. That is the good cop EU bad cop US routine. Nato is effectively at Russia's door step, and Putin cant win on this, and hence, the time is needed to resurrect a "pan-european" NATO flavor, and seek Russian participation and join them to the common cause, supporting pro-west Russian politicians, with Russia and NATO sitting right next to their bestest pal, uncle sam, "their bestest friend and big toe", Winger, movie Stripes, Bill Murray. This Georgia is all small potatoes for true soviet style expansion, its more of Putin saving face. Surely Russia could persuade Russian citizens in Georgia to come home or to live under a democratic Georgia, but Putin does not possess in his heart a true love of democracy, its more of tolerance, and some of out-right Czarist behaviour. Russia's moves help the Hawks anyway, and undermines Russia's public posture. It may be decades before the Russians can feel the need to promote democratic ideals, and practice that themselves, but the jeanie is out of the bottle, and in time, Russia will chill out. Move slow with NATO expansion, keep up the pressure, attempt to draw the Russian into NATO, and keep up the pressure on Democratic and Human rights about the globe, and BOMB THE F**K out of Iran. =================== Kind of like trading his knights for our pawns, who we told them, not to move, (hoodwink, here are a few more rocket launchers), and Razputin took the bait, had no choice really, and is now globally condemned, dissention by his queen is rising in Russia, Georgian feeling pride in standing up to them, (you have not seen the last of this), the US and Western Europe and UN have fodder to demean the agression. Checkmate of whom? Putin was played the fool, and "its a pity", he knows it. Bush captured his queen, and he dont even know it, with our little pawns. Bush and McCain won big on this little trick. =============== Well is appears the US was not behind the flair up in Georgia, that the Georgian did act unilaterally to put pressure on the break away provinces, and Putin reacted aggressively. Chechnia Grozny are very close to Ossetia. I supported Putin in Chechnia, but not in Georgia. Why the apparent duplicity, just like in the US, where traitor McCain surrender the southern border, ITS THE BORDER STUPID, Chenchia is in Russia and Ossetia is in Georgia, simple stupid approach, though the long term consequences, I believe will damage Putin, politically, and his strong-man method in the out years. The BTC pipeline extending from Baku Azerbjani on the Capsian Sea, through Thisbli Georgia to Ceyan Turkey on the Meditternian Sea bypasses Russia, hence giving an outlet to Caucasus Oil and importantly from Turkmenia and Kazakstan, in competition with Russia grip on Eastern Central Europe strangle hold. Putin one viable source of income and hence is real only power tool is OIL, and fear being the MOSCOW to Tehran connection blocking and controlling all of Eurasia Oil flows. Hence, the very high stakes. Bush vowing to that Georgia's borders remain in tact to defeat the Moscow-Tehran monopoly on Capisian Sea oil flows. Hence, the power play against Iran and the break away provinces in Georgia. ============ This may have been a gamble by the Georgians, or manipulation by the Russians, probably a little of both, but the net result is that public attention is focused upon Georgia, and the first thing, that the Russian assert is that the border is of no consequence, (must be aligned with the mexican lovers in this country), which is directly contrary to the established borders. MOSCOW loses on this one. ============== In the mean time, Russian General says interceptors placed in Poland would open up Poland to Neuclear attack, while the foreign minister says the break away provices will probably remain in Russian control. There ya go, the (lack of) promotion of democratic ideals from mama Russia. ================== From 2 days ago: So what is the story here, Moscow-Tehran alignment, to counter the West, and control oil through Georgia between Turkey and Eurpore and Eurasia Turkmenia and Kazakstand, lessen OPEC and Russia oil and gas dominace, which makes sense, I suppose. I doubt Bush gave the Georgians a green light to strike, (but you never really know), but was supportive with arms sales and supportive of NATO membership, so, the Georgians moved in on their own, which they have a right to do, but did so during the olympics to get maximum international sympathy, which they did, and hence, gained somewhat in world opinion, but now have Russian tanks deep into their country, but these are suppose to pull back. Lets see. Georgia knew the West would rally to their cause, especially with the strategic BTC pipeline in Georgia, separating Moscow and Tehran. Moscow did not disappoint them, with a severe counter-move, which is being played around the world. This of course plays into Bush's and McCain's hands as collateral motivation to strike Iran for Regime change. Moscow has a long way to go before it practices full democracy and promotes the same world wide. Poland is separated from Russia by dictatorial Belarus, and now it is a lock, Poland will deploy. Again, the US should offer interceptor protection to MOSCOW, to again encourage NATO membership by the Russians, if they clean up their act and resolve all border disputs. The long term ploy, GET THEM LOCKED IN to full democracy, and all this soviet style strong-man diplomacy falls to the ground, with the world more civil in so doing. So, I still think the better play is to push NATO expansion into Ukraine and Georgia, while offering Russia membership if it cleans up its act, deploy interceptors in POLAND while offering MOSCOW protection, which will be refused, but shows the world that we seek civil mutual protection, and no more, and will give democrats in Russia campaign fodder, that will eventually bring Russia around to fully joining all nations' democratic civility. When? Dont hold your breath, its cultural with them, strong-man rule, and Putin is in firm control, they dont change horses often, and it will be the big bad papa bear with centralized control for some time to come. What we need is for Russia to plant missiles or bombers in Cuba or Venisulia, and watch a Cuban Crises take down OUR PAL PUTIN. Pride is a wonderful thing, its "my favorite sin", The Devil's Advocate. =================== the title of this thread should be, the chessdummy swaps his knight and queen and the center position, for a dinky little pawn. ON THE FREAKING FLOOR!!!! But lets all give Putin some credit for at least trying, even though its inept, I mean, he was able to plant a flag on the artic sea floor, (when no one was watching), and did so, without the need for a US salvage ship (ON STATION), as there (APPARENTLY) was no Russian submarine implosion. I bet they were holding their breath, the entire time. ON THE FREAKING FLOOR!!!! ======== GORI, Georgia - Russia said its troops began withdrawing from the conflict zone in Georgia on Monday, including the strategic central city of Gori, "according to the peace plan" that sought to end fighting has reignited Cold War tensions. The statement by Col.-Gen. Anatoly Nogovitsyn came amid uncertainty about whether Russia was fulfilling its promise to begin the pullout Monday. He said troops were pulling back to South Ossetia — the breakaway region at the heart of the fighting — and to an unspecified security zone. ====== So why did they move their troops to Gori? If they had limited their action to only Ossetia, then they would not have drawn so much condemnation, but Putin over played his hand. by the by, a Colonel-General is equvilent to our Lieutenant General *** ============

Derrick: "..But before that happens Russia and China will dump the USD, because afterwards the USD will be worthless". Maybe you are right, but if so... Does any one think backing a nuclear power into a corner is a bright idea?

That is exactly what we want to do, is to keep them in a corner, and Russia is one big big corner for a mere 145 Million. The age of COLONIAL EMPIRES is gone, and Russia needs to wake up to that fact. The problem is not mutual annialation by neuclear bombs, but rather, defying, that is, changing Russia's strong-man culture, Putin's political base and the strength upon which Putin dares expand. There is absolutely nothing wrong with RUSSIA joining the west in promoting democratic ideals about the globe. This is the result desired. As such, I advocate Russian integration into UN WTO G7 NATO etc etc, in every way possible, to influence Russia toward pure democratic principles, while confining them through NATO expansion, which is really not an improper confinment but the only means in maintaining global peace through interconnectiveness supporting human rights everwhere. As far as the USD, Rubble, or Yaun, are concerned, all that fiat trash should implode in the out years, when war and fiat (unfair power tools) are replaced by trade and gold (honest money world wide). We need to move Russia toward pure democracy and respect for the same world wide. They are hooked up, and just need to bring em in the boat, and hope a gafe wont be necessary. But I am afraid it will take another Decade of pounding FREEDOM's bell, for them to finally catch the tune, and that we want them on democracy's team, as a full and respected member. We should want them success with economy, success in practicing full democracy, and be one of our BESTEST BUDDIES. In time, my friends, in time. ======================

"We need to move Russia toward pure democracy " What a total joke of a statement. What do you think the US has become? We use to be a constitutional republic. Now we are a corporated controlled terrorist state that uses our military to invade the world and plunder their resourses and kill anybody that gets in our way. Face it, Bush is the worst of the worst ever, totally corrupt to the core. A major wave of extreme bad Bush karma is headed our way. The USD is about to crash and burn and the whole paper debt trading system will lock up and die. Over the next 3 months we will witness the death of speculation and TPTB game of sucking money for nothing from the masses. Watch it happen and book it down hard. Our future will be about survival and all these petty political games will be over. Joe Marsiglia GS_Long

A major wave of extreme bad Bush karma is headed our way So said every presidential political opponent in this country since day one, its our right to complain against the president. Lincoln was the original gorrilla, denying habeas corpus, locking people up for years without due process, waging an unwinable war, etc etc, and Lincoln had the copperheads, as well, no difference in my view. But I hope that bad karma includes, shoot to kill orders on the southern borders. =============== The USD is about to crash and burn and the whole paper debt trading system will lock up and die. that is a good thing in my book =================== What do you think the US has become? Sadly, a quasi socialistic state, led by the gov-care pandering left, and followed by the bailout bankster right. I dont like it one bit. I want to abolish the FED, IRS, FIAT, NATIONAL DEBT, and all social services save only soup kitchens, medical clinics, and temporary shelters. But I am not king or your God. Would any of you rebell and corinate me? Xerxie in 300, I am a kind God, Your king required you to stand, I only require you to kneel. But those 300 stood up to Persian domination to maintain their freedom and projected Athenian democracy world wide. They had a war king, who saved democracy. A good thing. And that is why, its HERO BUSH, in my eyes. ================ In many decades to come, Islam will look back, and thank Bush for their freedom from centuries of social stagnation and for democracy, the only true way to defeat islamofascism. ============

Derrick: Democracy=rule by mob The mob will support whatever the media conditions it to. Controlling what people think, and their behavior, by making them afraid, or giving them welfare, is what this country has become today. The US Constitutional Republic did NOT originally have an authoritarian government. It did have free markets. It did NOT have central banking. Gold was money. Why would Russia, or any other state, want to emulate what the US government has become today? (And before you answer that, yes, I do know that many other governments are already authoritarian).
