The border agemts were not pardoned. Bush ordered their sentences commuted to time already served. That is a huge difference. Each felony remains on record and I believe after a year of being incarcerated they lose their U.S. citizenship and passport rights. Bush did not go far enough to right this wrong.

Bill OReilly, Great Show Man!! I really love it, you are a thinker, and I love thinkers.
OReilly Quoted Obama's speech in part: "we dont have to sacrifice our values to protect ourselves".
OReilly said he needed to chew on that for 24 hours. OReilly sees the value of harsh interrogation where massive potential murder is in play, and rightly so, I agree completely.
But OReilly did not go for the throat re OBAMA's naive assertion. Just recall that REPUBLICAN President Lincoln became the emulated front man for the Obama DC fly in. Yet, Lincoln did not emancipate the slaves because of slavery itself, the inherent evil of it, as he often said, he would save the Union if he could without freeing a single slave. Lincoln only emancipated slaves in enemy held rebel territory as a WAR MEASURE to perfect saving the Union, as he was NOT THE GREAT EMANCIPATOR, though he is remembered for it, but was rather responsible for saving the Union, which is not what he is most remembered for.
To drive this point home, for Mr. OReilly, because he misses the boat, citizens of the US were routinely thrown in jail, without hearing, without trial, indefinitely, without writ of Habeous Corpus rights by Sec of War Staton with Lincoln's full approval. Lincoln sacraficed values for the good of the nation, at war time. If OReilly was OREILLY ON-IT, he would have pointed out the inherent farcical nature of Obama's DC Fly in and hugging of the Lincoln memorial.
But who really cares about history, most of Obama's followers enjoy conveniently rewriting it.

The Historical Context.
In 1862, things were not going well for the Union Cause. In May 62, Stonewall Jackson defeated three superior union armies in the Shenandoah, under Banks, Fremont, and Sigal (of Burnside), in superb strategical and tactical fashion. In June 62, Bobby Lee pushed back McClellan's superior 110K army away from the gates of Richmond made only to be then sidelined and made irrelevant on the James River. In the New Mexico Territory Sibly had advanced on and captured Sante Fe and Albuquerque. Loring in West Virginia marched on and captured Charleston WV, while a cavalry raids reach and crossed the Ohio River. In northern Mississippi Bragg gave Halleck the slip, and in excellent logistics, moved his army to Chattanooga, and Bragg's army then march through middle TN with a victory Mudfordville, and into KY threatening Louisville and Cincinnati. Kirby Smith recaptured Cumberland Gap, defeated Bull Nelson at Richmond KY, and recaptured Frankfurt and Lexington KY. Bobby Lee turned his famed Army of Northern Virginia north and in grand strategic style and excellent tactics smashed Pope at 2nd Bull Run, and Bobbly Lee was at the gates of Washington DC reaching Chantilly and Falls Church VA and then set his eyes on Hagerstown in his Maryland invasion eyeing Philadelphia and Baltimore, as they sang My-Maryland My-Maryland. Van Dorn and Price made strikes at Iuka and Corinth MS while Grant's Army was being divided up in a desparate attempt to stop the confederate army two prong TN advance by Van Dorn-Price and Bragg-K.Smith, with Buell withdrawing from Nashville TN, rapidly toward the Ohio to try to save Louisville KY.
The Summer and Early Fall of 1862 was a dark time for the Union cause mostly because of Lincoln's inept hands-on generalship of the Union Forces. (The senator's Biden great-great grandfather was blame-gaming Lincoln the whole time, while Reid's great-great grandfather of the democratic copperheads said the war was lost with rising dissention in the northern press that in the tank for the democrats, defaming Lincoln as the original gorilla, stating often, the cause of was lost, -just kidding about Biden-Reid!). England was considering joining France in recognizing the South, but waited for the outcome of Bobby Lee's and McClellan's battle at Antietam. To put it mildly, the North had it's back up against the wall, with the Jacobean wing of the Republican party up in arms demanding freeing of the slaves, which Lincoln would not do. Lincoln would not do it, less 50K northern rifles would be thrown down in disgust in MO and KY, then loyal union slave states. Lincoln wrote his famous emancipation declaration, which only freed slaves in enemy held territory, to help deny the southerners of their slave labor, but which in practical reality, had little or no affect. Hence, slaves in MO, KY, TN, DE, WV, and MD were not freed by Lincoln thereunder, and slaves in the rebel held south remained in bondage. Lincoln did not free any slaves whatsoever when issuing the emancipation declaration. Lincoln shocked the cabinet with his war measure proposal. Sec. of War Staton, I believe, said that if you Lincoln release it, it would sound like the last gasp of the dying nation, and Lincoln held off issuing the emancipation declaration. When Bobby Lee finally strategically withdrew from MD after his tactical defensive victory at Antietam, only then, did Lincoln dare issue his war measure. Lincoln's emancipation declaration freed no slaves, and, merely placated the rebellious Jacobeans for political reasons. Lincoln was a political animal, but as general in chief, an absolute failure, and issued the emancipation declaration, in desparation, as a war measure for political purposes, and freed no slaves.
Lincoln was not the great emancipator for which he is known, and is not generally known for saving the union, which he did, when he finally put GENERAL BETRAYUS in charge (Grant).

Bill OReilly, And what this missive really does, is draw parallels between Bush and Lincoln. Both won a war, and taking down Saddam in only 3 weeks was a great FIRST MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Both eventually liberated millions, and were both were habitually defamed by the screeching democrats, THE WAR IS LOST!!!! Bush is a true American hero, and will eventually become to be known as one, in time, just like Lincoln. Bush as a bold leader has effectively destroyed the islamofascists command structure leaving Obama the mop up job, and Bush acted in good faith with tangible results on the war on terror and the propagation of democracy about the world, and in the end, in the years to come, will be more kindly viewed as a GREAT PRESIDENT as well.
Obama might just be able to reach Bush's knees in long term legacy, if he can stop nuclear proliferation through containment of Iran, and that means, BLOCKADE of Iran and force IAEA compliance, as well as in NKorea. But I doubt President Obama has the balls.
Lets See, JFK or JC, time will tell.

I am a war hawk, and propose something that might seem counter, yet aligned to your way of thinking. We have I think about 30K troops in South Korea, sitting on their butts. These are believed useless as a deterent anyway. North Korea could fire a salvo in an artillery barrage, but that could not be stopped with such troops, ditto any nuclear missles. There is no way NK will launch a military invasion in the south, those famish gooks could not even run 300 yards across the DMZ. So why are our troops in SK, when we have guam to station troops nearby coupled with naval stand off capabilities to punish NK if necessary. Makes no sense to me to have our troops in SK given modern logistical and strike capabilities. I propose putting the heat on Japanese and the South Koreans, and immediately pull out all of our troops there to where they are needed, in Afghanistan, to get in on the kill, of Taliban and Al Queda remenants. Most in the military would rather get in on the fun, than sit with their thumbs up their butts in SK.
Now, approach China, and tell them straight out, pull the switch on power to NK, and force complete denuclearization. Get NK out of the nuclear game, and go after Iran with the naval blockade to force complete IAEA compliance. I already gave you all the tactical/strategic plan to chill Iran, and to solve the palestinian issue. Why? Because I am here to help you, the USA, and make you a HERO like JFK.
So, you now have my Middle East Solution, the North Korean Solution, the Iranian Solution, and coupled with your War on Terror Mop Up in Afghanistan, there is your ticket to immortality as a US Great President. Interested? GIT HER DONE!!!

CAIRO, Egypt – An Internet posting purportedly by al-Qaida in Yemen says the group's No. 2 is a Saudi national who is a former Guantanamo detainee.
The Yemeni group — known as "al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula" — posted the statement this week on a militant Web site that regularly carries al-Qaida messages.
It says the man returned to his home in Saudi Arabia after his release from the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba about a year ago and from there went to Yemen to join the terror group.
The Internet statement identified the man as Said Ali al-Shihri and says his prisoner number at Guantanamo was 372.

Cooperation on Afghanistan has been the most successful project uniting NATO and Russia, whose relations froze after Moscow's brief war in Georgia last August.
Before the war, Russia agreed to allow nonmilitary NATO supplies to be delivered to Afghanistan across its territory bypassing Pakistan, where supply convoys face security risks.
NATO and Russia are expected to hold on Monday the first session of their council since the South Ossetia war. Russian officials have made clear the fate of the Afghan transit depends on how relations between Moscow and the alliance develop.
Medvedev's overtures to Obama are part of an effort by the Kremlin to use change in the White House to mend bilateral relations.
Russia, alarmed by a threat from Afghanistan's Taliban rulers to its Central Asian allies, had backed a U.S. drive to topple them in 2001.
But it later became more critical of the U.S.-led operation in Afghanistan saying it had stopped short of stabilizing the country and failed to lessen the threat of Islamic radicalism and drug trafficking.

President Obama 'orders Pakistan drone attacks'
Missiles fired from suspected US drones killed at least 15 people inside Pakistan today, the first such strikes since Barack Obama became president and a clear sign that the controversial military policy begun by George W Bush has not changed.
Security officials said the strikes, which saw up to five missiles slam into houses in separate villages, killed seven "foreigners" - a term that usually means al-Qaeda - but locals also said that three children lost their lives.
Dozens of similar strikes since August on northwest Pakistan, a hotbed of Taleban and al-Qaeda militancy, have sparked angry government criticism of the US, which is targeting the area with missiles launched from unmanned CIA aircraft controlled from operation rooms inside the US.
The operations were stepped up last year after frustration inside the Bush administration over a perceived failure by Islamabad to stem the flow of Taleban and al-Qaeda fighters from the tribal regions into Afghanistan. I like your show, that OREILLY-HANNITY 1-2 punch is dynamite.
But, if you get your voice any louder, the Hannity's screech show just might out do OREILLY's shout show. When you are on a roll, I can not even tell when the higher volume commercials are on. (LOL!!!)
Hey, you have a valid point that the President press secretary will not refer to the War on Terror as the War on Terror. Yeah, I know, them lefties have that fag speech impediment, they can not say the W words, (War on terror, gW bush, etc.) And you and I know exactly what it is. Its political posturing and appeasing the political base. Pacifists are HEAR no evil, see no evil, say no evil types, nothing new there. But who really cares what the politicians call it, or the games the political hacks make of it, for TV ratings, on Hannity's America or The OReilly Factor. I don’t care what they call it, nor how they posture themselves for political gain. I am interested in results. In his first week of office, Obama struck Taleban and AlQueda in Pakieland. Obama is a killer, by deed just proven. Cant you give him at least that? I am looking for results, not the proper parlance nor the imagery of politicians or their political hacks. I want these terrorists defeated, no matter what you want to call it, or how it is sold to the people on TV for ratings. So, you call it the war on terror, and give Obama credit for pounding the bad guys, that is fine with me. Whether Obama wants to give any credit to GW Bush, he nonetheless should follow the Bush Doctrine, and go after Taleban and AlQueda in W.Pakieland with impunity, as it appears he will now do. Pakieland harbors Taleban and AlQueda in W.Pakieland striking Afghanistan while Kasmir and E.Pakieland extremists go after the Indians. Pakieland through, its inaction or ineffectiveness, to control terrorists in their own country have forfeited rights to territorial sovereignty, and hence, Obama should help them out all he can, because Obama is just that kind of guy. I don’t think he will call it the Bush Doctrine, but if he was smart he would play that card for political purposes and secure right support in so doing. I know the left views the war on terror as a penal criminal police action, rather than a WAR, but both use military to perfect the same, and defeat the bad guys from doing their terror. Funny aint it, its all words, but the methods and desired results are by and large nearly the same. In the end, its all politics of course.
And so, I would now ask you to do me a favor, if you would be so kind. Please call up your bestest buddy and pal, President Obama, and ask him to use some of that 1T$ stimulus package to finish the southern border fence, to put people to work on it, the people will support that, and put in play more border agents on there, increasing employment, and suggest a few predator drones as well, to take out the invading hoards, before he registers all those illegal criminal aliens with generous work visas, per the OREILLY plan, which is a very good plan. Obama can play the slippery politician game with the parlance, be the panderer of the Mexican vote, and get the left jumping in support of generous work visas, but we should, in the end, want results to problems. In putting up the fence, Obama appeals to left and right, and that is a huge winner. By going with the OREILLY plan, Obama appeals to left and right. It seems like a winner for all, NO MATTER WHAT YOU WANT TO CALL IT. So, please give him my check list.

11. Encourage Russian membership in WTO NATO and EU.
12. When out of Iraq and Afghanistan is secure, blockade Iran to enforce full IAEA compliance, and be prepared for the Gulf of Tonken redo, protecting Russian nuke facilities, with the Russians always there, to keep an eye on the Iranians.
13. Lean on Israel to free the W.Bank NOW as the state of Palestine, under ABBAS over FATAH in Ramalah responsible for the safety of Jews and Arabs now situated in the W.Bank.
14. Keep GAZA isolated until they renounce terror, accept Israel's right to exist, without repatriation into Israel and without war reparations, and perhaps later create a separate state of W.Palestine, and maybe in the future Palestine and W.Palestine can be united, though, it would probably be better to keep them segregated countries for the next couple of decades.

I have my financial plan that could eliminate the national debt overnight, and solve all this BS derivative stuff, but I believe it will take another two decades of fiat over spending before that plan will finally be realized as the ultimate solution, so I will not trouble you now with that. But Obama can make many substantial gains, if he follows my game plan, under whatever parlance and posture he choices. Doing these things, Obama can solve the Palestinian issue, win the War on Terror, denuke Iran, denuke North Korea, and protect the homeland from the invading mexican hoards. I don’t care what you or others want to call it, or the parlance used for political purposes. I want results.
And if Obama can deliver, MORE POWER TO HIM.

JERUSALEM – President Barack Obama's special envoy to the Middle East will come to Israel Wednesday for talks on keeping alive a fragile Gaza cease-fire and reviving Mideast negotiations, an Israeli foreign ministry official said Saturday.
It is the new administration's first direct move into Mideast peace efforts.
George J. Mitchell will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and senior Israeli officials, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because Washington has not officially announced the trip.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton introduced Mitchell in his new role Thursday. His appointment is seen as signaling a renewed push under the Obama administration for a resolution to the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Mitchell will also visit Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Salam Fayyad at their headquarters in the West Bank, the official said.
The official said Mitchell will discuss restarting Israeli-Palestinian peace talks after Israel's three-week offensive in the Gaza Strip, and ways to impose an effective arms blockade against the Hamas militants who rule Gaza and have been firing rockets into Israel for years.

Pakistan takes over main center of suspect charity
LAHORE, Pakistan – Pakistan formally took control Sunday of the main operational facility of a charity allegedly linked to the Mumbai attacks, underscoring its ongoing effort to ease international pressure over militancy on its soil.
The mostly Muslim nation had already closed or taken over several offices, schools and other properties of the Jamaat-ud-Dawa charity and detained much of its central leadership. On Sunday, a newly appointed government administrator took over the 75-acre compound in the eastern city of Muridke in Punjab province, where the group has conducted and coordinated much of its business.
India says the banned Pakistani militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba staged the November attacks that killed 164 people in Mumbai. Soon after, the U.N. declared that Jamaat-ud-Dawa — popular with many Pakistanis for its relief work — was a front for Lashkar, prompting Pakistan's crackdown.
Salman Ejaz, a senior official in Punjab province, said all assets and properties of the charity in the province were now under the regional government's control. Most of the assets, offices and operations of the group are in Punjab, Pakistan's most populous province.
"The government has appointed an officer as administrator for all the assets," Ejaz said. "The schools and the hospitals will keep on working as they are."
Ejaz said the administrator and other officials would try to gauge and map out the extent of the charity's operations — especially its bank accounts, which Pakistan has ordered frozen.
Asked why it took so long for the government to take over the Muridke site, officials said it was a complicated task.
After the initial crackdown and assessment of the group's operations, "we are going for total regulation under government control," Punjab Home Secretary Nadeem Hasan said. "All things cannot happen in one go."

"The humanitarian concerns are naturally a priority but the political process must follow close behind," he said, after chairing EU talks with Egypt, Jordan, the Palestinian territories, Turkey and Norway.
"It is the parties themselves who need to genuinely want peace and to be prepared to make the concessions necessary to get there," he told reporters.

Release Buffalo Bill from GITMO
Mr. Bill OReilly,
The situation confronting Obama and his pledged GITMO termination is a very big concern to us all. Obama cant be that stupid to just release those bad guys. But maybe Obama aint that smart to develop a good working plan. So, lets try to help him out, as the loyal opposition.
Hannibal Lecter: What is it, what is it's nature, what does it do?

Hannibal Lecter: No, that is only incidental, he covets.
What is their nature?
What is their culture?
How can that be used?
While bombs are exploded in Iraq and Afghanistan killing our boys and their children, it is difficult to view them as "freedom" fighters, ala Cindy Sheehand, but from their perspective that is exactly how they view themselves. Hence, such a view, while facially appalling, is nonetheless rational, in their eyes. What are the groups we face? There is AlQueda, Taleban, Bathe Saddamists, Shiite Militias. To the Muslim world, infidels on their soil are viewed as crusaders, and there is a cultural tendency to eject the invaders. We can understand that, and how they would rally in support of each other to defeat the invaders.
There is the Taleban, though considered ruthless and intolerant by our standards, they nonetheless represented a government, with a sizable portion of the population supporting them, likewise the Bath Saddamists. Those Taleban and Saddamist fighters can be considered as rebels and insurgents in a political war for control of their lands. The Shiite militias are also vying for control and for protection from the Saddamists. As Iraq quiets down, and democracy takes root, thanks to Bush's bold action there, the Saddamists and Shiite Militias will more and more toward and join the democratic processes and over time will become more civil. This can be said for the Taleban as well if Obama presses the Afghanistan war as he claims he will, and as he plans to insert 30K additional troops. The Taleban, Saddamists, and Shiites Militia will eventually lay down their arms and join the political processes. As far as Taleban at GITMO, they should be transferred to Afghanistan prisons, and let the Afghanistanis deal with them as them deem fit. Saddamists and Shiite Militia should be sent to Iraq and the Iraqi deal with them as them deem fit.
AlQueda and Pakistani terrorists remain the threat, long term, and must be dealt with severely. As to the Pakistanis, Obama has it right, pound W.Pakieland with areo drones while using troops to secure the borders there. That seems to be the play now in process. In so doing, the Pakistani government will become more forceful to sit on the crazies, and that has just been proven with their recent cooperation shutting down a terrorist charity having members participating in the Mumbei (Bombay for us older guys) strikes. The Pakistani government has and should be encouraged to more forcefully sit on their own crazies, which I think will happen, if Obama keeps up the pressure by pounding W.Pakieland at every opportunity to do so.
But, AlQueda remains THE threat, with no home land, an outlaw cult, that is capable of transnational strikes, and we do not want GITMO releases to reinforce them, as they are the ones who will project transnational terror, and possibly hit us again. As far as AlQueda at GIMO, they could all be release to Saudi Arabia. The Saudis were the ones that started this war on terror with their hot rhetoric, and should take responsibility for it, and take ALL AlQueda detainees.
The Saudis came out in 2004 with their famous, Islam yes Terror No, anti-terror campaign slogan. Lets put it and them to the test. Now, their culture for confining prisoners is a bit more brutal than western culture, allot more. They would have no problem with public floggings, dismemberments, and decapitations for the smallest of crimes. So lets suppose we have an AlQueda type, and we send them to Saudi Arabia for confinement. If they get released, then that lessen the political pressure on Obama. But, perhaps a deal can be worked out. Suppose the Saudis get a AlQueda who 1) publicly asked Allah for forgiveness for the killing of innocents on AlJazeera, 2) swears to Allah that he would not aid or abet AlQueda on AlJazeera, 3) agrees to extradition if captured for such acts on AlJazeera, 4) understands that all immediate family members will be subject to term incarceration if he rejoins AlQueda, and 5) that if he is captured again, will be subject to the most hideous form of Saudi justice, leading to a very painful death, in public, and his remains will be wrapped in pig skin and sent to the bottom of the ocean for eternity for violating his oath to Allah. They may even get some spies to work for them by payments in gold to their families. What you do then is you use their culture against them, to control them, and use Muslim governments to control the crazies, which must be done, if we are ever to win the war on terror. Use the Muslim Governments and their Muslim culture to control extreme Muslims according to their laws, religion, and punishment standard to and perfect the desired result.
Of course, Obama is playing with fire, but as long as there are detainees, Western culture will seek civil rights, civil trials, and comfortable incarcerations, for any of them. This is a conflict of cultures of course, and hence, we need to fight the war on terror with not only good Intel methods, and military force as needed, but also with are brains, and be smart in terms of controlling the crazies. The war on terror will never be won until democratic/civil Muslim societies and governments sit on the crazies. We need them to control their own, and the best way for them to do that is through their own culture.
Personally, I would just march all the GITMO detainees outside to a court yard for the head shots, and be done with it, over night in a mass grave, but I am not the president. Obama won the election, and in our western culture, majority rules. So, the heads shots are out. Indefinite incarceration is out. Military tribunal courts are out. But that does not mean we just sit by and let Obama screw up. We help him to achieve the desired result, and that is, having Muslim governments sit on the crazies using their culture and religion. It may be effective to release Muslim AlQueda types to Muslim Governments that can more effectively deal with them, on their cultural level, as a plan worth considering. We should not try to demean Obama, merely because we are on the right of his political base, but rather, given the political realities, help him become a successful president, because in end, results are achieved, and we all win, with the silence of the lambs.

During his presidency, former President George W. Bush gave several interviews to Al-Arabiya but the wars he launched in Iraq and Afghanistan prompted a massive backlash against the U.S. in the Muslim world.
Al-Arabiya has scored interviews with top U.S. officials in the past, including Bush and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
The Saudi-owned channel is seen by some in Washington as more balanced in its coverage than its Qatar-funded rival Al-Jazeera, which the previous White House administration complained had an anti-American bias.

Why you getting all upset whether the stimulus package does that? You know the government is not going to stop over spending. As you picked up on my reference to Lincoln regarding Habeous Corpous, I will give you another. Lincoln said. "There's to many pigs for the tits", in is own style. Dick Morris has it right, get more than 50% dependent on government spending, and you control the folks, and enforce socialism and the enslavement of the Americans. But, the monetary feedback system will get the socialists in the end, and that paper money. Every fiat paper money system that has ever been has eventually failed. We are in that process now, and its amusing to see all the fuss here and there, when it all is very predictable and expected, and HOPED FOR.
The politicians are just panderers fulfilling the compassion of government enslaving the masses. We know where it will eventually lead, to decades of over spending until the fiat system finally collapses, ala Zimbawai and Iceland. But is it really just a bad thing, eventual collapse, because the only real alternative, is gold and silver, a one world currency that prevents unfair trade practices, deficit spending, and the inability to balance budgets. With real and honest money, the politicians will have to become real and honest, and the people will have to live within their means. We will get there, as night follow day. A Billion Dollars an Ounce,
As our world moves ever closer toward comprehensive interconnectedness between all nations in the global confluence, currently characterized by trade globalization and global democratization in this democracy century, that is driven by human cultural evolution, toward completion, when ultimately wars are replaced by the up coming trade wars, and when all fiat paper money is driven to zero value and replaced by gold and silver real money as the global medium of exchange dictated by UN treaties outlawing international settlements in fiat, practical considerations are pondered as to the practical mechanics of seamlessly switching from fiat money to real money world wide. A primary goal, when switching from fiat money to real money, is the avoidance of concomitant economic devastation, depression, or severe recession typically characterized by and experienced during the collapse of a fiat money regime. The German early 20th century Wienmark Republic provides the exemplar quintessential calamity experience during such fiat money collapses. The Russian Ruble twice collapsing is another example upon the dislocations suffered when switching from a communist economy to a market economy.
Currently, in the US, the Federal Reserve Note (FRN) is the fiat money used, that has become the world reserve currency, held in quantity in most foreign central banks. The Chinese, for example, are reported to possess upwards of 1.3T-FRN$ in their foreign exchange (Forex) bank reserves. The Federal Reserve Bank, (FED) of the US issue bonds to foreign banks to repatriate FRNs to accommodate current account balances in the US and world wide. The US national debt is today rapidly approaching 10T$. Sure these are big numbers, but, wait until the out years come, when the fiat regimes world wide collapse. The world is racing to that end, as banks around the world attempt to out-print each other, trying to maintain advantage, in a precursor to the up coming trade wars, in manufacturing exports to support respective domestic economies. All paper fiat moneys are experiencing inflation, mostly now actually into double digits, and inflation is and will continue to accelerate into hyper-inflation, and then lastly into mega-inflation, as the end days approach for all fiat paper moneys and national fiat regimes, collectively, referred to as the world fiat complex. Gold and silver bullion has made remarkable increases of late relative to the fiat complex, but what we are seeing is merely the infant stage of collapse of the fiat complex. The fiat collapse has actually barely begun in earnest.
In the context of the global confluence, the use of fiat money has been the primary enabler to particularly project US economic and military power over the last 100 years, primarily starting with the creation of the FED, then with FDR's confiscation of gold from the public, as well as the 1972 disconnect between the gold and the FRN. While real money believers are appalled by the disconnect, and while many FRN savers have been burned by inflation, and will be burned by the fiat complex collapse, the result of the fiat use during the 20th century and into this 21st century, has been an ability to fund US military, economic, and political might which have collectively in fact civilized this world, in large measure, in this democracy century. Now that that civilization has been substantially complete or will be substantially complete soon, war will be outlawed in the years ahead, and as such, the use of the fiat FRN has been, in this measure, a good thing for whole of man kind. But, now is the time to get back to honest government, honest markets, and honest money. Its now time to go back to our traditional roots as free Americans. Personal ownership of land, guns, gold/silver and the vote for less government are the hallmarks of any free society, and puts ultimate power in the people, and we Americans have let our freedom wane, under government controls and mandates. But with the coming completion of the global confluence, lets all Americans demand back all of our freedoms, free from over-intrusive government actions and robbing fiat banking systems. We sacrificed our freedoms in these regards for 100 years or more, during the global confluence struggle, and now that complete victory should be soon declared, our freedoms should be reinstated, in full measure. We Americans paid the heavy price to civilize this world, and now its time to have our freedoms back, completely.
Real money believers, as well as fair and honest world traders in the up coming trade wars, should desire and promote a comprehensive world wide collapse of the fiat complex. When individuals hold real gold and silver money, the people hold the ultimate economic power, the power of the purse, defeating governmental abilities to manipulate our lives through interest rate controls, market manipulations, and uncontrolled fiat money printing. World governments, inherently distrusting of trading partner's excessive fiat printing and abilities to subsidize domestic industries to the disadvantage of their trading partners, ultimately seek that gold and silver real money medium of exchange so as to limit global unfair trade practices between nations. In effects, the uncontrolled fiat printing debasing of the money supplies, self-centered unfair global trade practices, and personal desire for economic freedom in this democracy century are the drivers toward the ultimate return and exclusive international use of real gold and silver money.
Other goals of the real money believers seeking the transition to the exclusive use of real money are the elimination of the Federal Reserve Bank, the elimination of the federal reserve banking system, the elimination of commercial banks executives transplantation into the federal banking system and the inherent conflicts of interest, and the elimination of the ability of the federal government to use commercial banks to manipulate supposedly free markets to the commercial banks' advantage over others market participants when striving for free and fair markets, so that all have an equal opportunity when investing in and dealing with the commercial markets. When real money is used, freedom is advanced, manipulation is limited, conflicts are avoided, and corruption of people and money is limited, if not, eliminated.
The US Mint, like most governmental mints, produce real constitutional money, in the form of 1 oz gold and silver Eagle coinage, in addition to lesser denominations, including 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/2 oz silver and gold coins. In addition, legal tender rates of exchanges between coinage denominations should be set in stone, and currently, this has been done, and as the 1 oz Gold Eagle is set to 50$ and the 1 oz Silver Eagle is set to 1$. Currently, the US Mint produces gold and silver Eagle coinage, as well as the 1ct copper penny and the 5ct nickel. The gold, silver, copper and nickel coinage is traditional US money, and that should be retained and exclusively used following the fiat complex collapse.
The transition to real money may not be that inherently difficult, if the proper game plan and real money stores are ready in advance, when the time comes. So lets set the stage as to the practical mechanics of switching from the fiat complex to real money, particularly in reference to the US FED. First, lets raise the national debt to a mere 100T$, just to give us some spending breathing room, over the next 25 years, to play the fiat end game, and finish the global confluence. Next, the US Mint should set aside 100,000 oz of Gold Eagles, to pay off this nation debt, and that means, 100T-FRN$/100,000 oz of Gold Eagles, equates to 1Billon-FRN$ to 1 gold Eagle. This exchange rate is not set so as to pay back any US debt, but rather set to make transistion to real money smooth, seemless, and practicable.
The US government is believed to possess some 250,000,000 oz of gold, and so, the national debt of 100T-FRN$, in terms of 1 oz Eagles, equates to a mere 0.04% of the US gold reserve. The US government can therefore, issue and print gold certificates, that is, real notes actually redeemable in gold real money at any bank, so the people do not have to transact business carrying a heavy load. Silver stocks can be acquired through the usual tax regimes, and silver certificates can be issued and printed as well. With respect to the copper penny and nickel nickel, if stocks are short, steel penny "certificates" and steel nickel "certificate" coinage can also be stamped out in mass to accommodate any shortage in copper and nickel base metal stocks during the transistion period.
And so, the real money regime can be produced in mass and in advance of the fiat complex collapse by having minted Gold 50$ Eagles, Silver 1$ Eagles, Copper 1ct Pennies, Nickel 5ct Nickels, and their corresponding redeemable certificates, including gold and silver paper certificates and copper and nickel steel stamped coinage certificates.
Now, comes the easy part. The US government should reduce interest rates on FRN$ to zero percent in perpetuity, and start printing 90T FRN$, and literally "go for broke" with the printing presses running around the clock, and intentionally cause that desired mega-inflation in the FRN$. Lets drive the greenback FRN to zero, and kill it once and for all. The US FED is well adept at doing this, they have had allot of practice over the last 100 years. As the 100T-FRN$ are printed and used to completely intentionally destroy the FRN$, the government should enact bi-currency laws, that enable the use of FRN$ or alternatively, for tax purposes, for example, gold and silver real money, both as legal tender, as the FRN$ is driven to zero value relative to the real money. When substantially complete, pay off any foreign Forex debts with real money, at the rate of ONE billion FRNs to 1 oz gold Eagle. As such, the US Government need only flip China (1.3T-FRN$/1B-FRN$/1ozGoldEagle) 1300 gold Eagles, and simply say, thanks for the business, and similarly treat any other foreign Forex reserve holding of US FRN$, and after a limited redemption period, eliminate the Federal Reserve Bank, and put those ex-commercial bank executives in the unemployment line, where they rightfully belong.
The transition to real money is not really a complex thing to do, if done seamlessly through a temporary bi-currency regime and economy, using FRN$ and Gold and Silver real money, concurrently, during the transition periods. The economy should not therefore suffer from an economy shock, but rather, move through a simple transition period. We Americans, by nature, culture, and politics are an adaptable lot of the people, and understand money and inflation, and can personally adjust our personal asset portfolio, to protect wealth during such transition periods, as in the late 1970s, as we have been there and done that, successfully. We should not be afraid of the future, which is a very good one for man kind, in the final days of the global confluence, where wars are replaced by the trade wars, and as the fiat complex is replaced by real money. Our world is becoming safer. Our freedoms will be returned to us. Honest government, honest markets, and honest money will rule the land of the free and brave, once again, and else where around the world. Its is a glorious future, and I hope to be alive that day when one gold Eagle is worth a billion dollars an ounce.

Section A, Accounts and Redemption.
A.1 The debt limit of the United State shall be raised forthwith in Federal Reserve Notes to 100 Trillion notes.
A.2 The Treasury of the United State shall issue all of said Federal Reserve Notes forthwith.
A.3 The Federal Reserve Bank shall forthwith pay in said notes all US Government bonds and obligations to all and any holders thereof of such obligations and bonds throughout the world,
A.4 The Treasury of the United States shall segregate 100,000 oz of Gold Eagle Coinage for the exclusive use of redemption of all of said Federal Reserve Notes.
A.5 All of said Federal Reserve Notes and prior issued Federal Reserve Notes shall be redeemable in Gold and Silver Eagle coinage of the United State at a rate of 0.0000000001 (1 Billionth) oz of Gold Eagle coinage or 0.00000005 (fifty Billionth) oz of Silver Eagle coinage in United States exclusively limited to only US Mint minted Gold and Silver Eagle coinage, redeemable at any National Bank of the United States, or authorized Mint Eagle coinage dealer.
Section B, Redemption Periods.
B.1 Said Redemption in Gold and Silver Eagle coinage shall be for a period of not more than one year of the date of enactment of this act by the President of the United States.
B.2 After said Redemption period, Gold and Silver Eagle coinage shall be the only lawful legal tender used for all debts, public and private, within the United States.
Section C, International Settlement of Debts.
C.1 During said Redemption period, all international obligations in said Federal Reserve Notes shall be settled exclusively in Gold and Silver Eagle coinage at said exchange rate.
C.2 After said Redemption period, all international obligations shall be settled consistent with UN treaty obligations that all international settlements between nations shall be exclusively in Gold and Silver species.
Section D Domestic Settlement of Debts.
D.1 All and any obligations of the United States to and for any citizen or national alien of the United states, including but not limited to payments due in arrearages of social security, medi-care, medi-caid shall be immediately paid forthwith in said Federal Reserve Notes.
D.2 Upon termination of the redemption period, and payment of all international and domestic obligations, the national debt of the United States shall be then, hence forth, and forever zero.
Section E, The Federal Reserve Bank.
E.1 The Federal Reserve Bank shall forthwith reduce to zero percentage rate all existing United State bonds, until all such bonds are paid in full by said issuance of said Federal Reserve Notes within said redemption period.
E.2 The Federal Reserve Bank shall, upon payment of all of said bonds in said notes, shall be then, hence forth and forever abolished, and shall quit all transactions upon the termination of the redemption period.
E.3 All bonds issued by the United States shall then thereafter, hence forth, and forever shal be exclusively denominated in Gold and Silver Eagle coinage.
This act, being duly authorized by the Congress of the United States, is hereby the supreme law throughout the United States upon execution by the President of the United States,

There was a Chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab the Prof noticed one young man (exchange student) who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt. The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student Told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country, who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist government.
In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a Strange question: 'Do you know how to catch wild pigs?'
The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said this was no joke. 'You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat, you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.
Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.
The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening to America . The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc. While we continually lose our freedoms - a little at a time.
One should always remember 'There is no such thing as a free lunch!' Also, 'You can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself. Also, if you see that all of this wonderful government 'help' is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America , you might want to send this on to your friends. JERUSALEM – President Barack Obama's Mideast envoy turned his attention to the Western-backed Palestinian government in the West Bank on Thursday as rockets thudded into southern Israel and Israeli warplanes attacked new targets in Gaza.
George Mitchell was seen entering Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' headquarters in the West Bank town of Ramallah and was due to meet later in the day with Prime Minister Salam Fayyad.
He is not meeting with Hamas, the Islamic group that is Abbas' rival and the ruler of the Gaza Strip. The U.S., Israel and European Union have blacklisted Hamas as a terrorist group.
Mitchell held his first round of talks with regional leaders in Cairo and Jerusalem Wednesday to determine the next steps toward reviving peace negotiations following Israel's blistering military offensive Hamas.

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip – Senior officials in the Islamic group Hamas are indicating a willingness to negotiate a deal for a long-term truce with Israel as long as the borders of Gaza are opened to the rest of the world.
"We want to be part of the international community," Hamas leader Ghazi Hamad told The Associated Press at the Gaza-Egypt border, where he was coordinating Arab aid shipments. "I think Hamas has no interest now to increase the number of crises in Gaza or to challenge the world."
Hamas is trying hard to flex its muscles in the aftermath of Israel's punishing onslaught in the Gaza Strip, doling out cash, vowing revenge and declaring victory over Zionist aggression. But AP interviews with Hamad and two other Hamas leaders in the war-ravaged territory they rule suggest some of that might be more bluster than reality — and the group may be ready for some serious deal making.
That raises the question of whether Hamas, which receives much of its funding and weapons from Tehran, can be coaxed out of Iran's orbit. That question looks less preposterous than it did before President Barack Obama began extending olive branches to the Muslim world and Israel's Gaza offensive reshuffled Mideast politics.

My Dad Has A Gun!!! November 8th 2005
President Bush, my beloved president, my hero.
I look back these days, at 50 years of age, and think that I did have a happy childhood. I remember so well playing with building blocks and toy soldiers with Billy and Bobby across the street, and I played slot-cars at my home, while the TV aired the Beatles on the Ed Sulivan Show, with pooky, our dog, running about barking. It was a good time for me, warm and secure. But one day, my dad came home with a weapon, a long big shinny rifle, with boxes of ammo. I recall how he would point it out the window, in mock shooting of anyone coming uninvited. Then at night, the TV showed burning buildings, the city of Watts had exploded in flames, in race riots, and the riots were spreading across the nation. I distinctly recall viewing three national guardsmen on TV, in blood-spattered battle fatigues on the streets of Watts, pointing rifles in the air, standing next to a large sign, reading, "turn left or get shot". I ran across the street the next day, and exclaimed to Billy and Bobby, "MY DAD HAS A GUN!!!". My happy little home was now Fortress 238th Street, in Torrance California.
My grandparents and parents came to California in the 1950s, from on the demilitarized zone in Cleveland Ohio, separating the white and black communities. My grandpa would not watch NBA basketball because it had too many blacks playing. My parents did watch the NBA, but were not much better. I recall one time, while at a newspaper boys' rally, where I called a white boy the N-word, and a black boy looked at me in surprise. I immediately apologized, but in thinking about, I became ashamed of myself. I grew to hate my grandparent's bigotry, for contaminating my childhood parlance. My parents, now much guarded in their speech, still retain to this day residual bias, but at least conduct themselves civilly these days. I will certainly teach my children to judge people by the content of character and not the color of skin. It takes generations of social unrest, violence, and divisiveness to over come deep seated prejudices resulting from a mass immigration of peoples who are not readily assimilate into American culture.
The last slave ship, the Nightingale, destined for the slave market in the USA, was captured by Yankee cruisers off the west coast of Africa in 1861, yet it really took hundreds of blockading gunboats plying off the southern ports to finally shut down the slave trade. In 1863, when New York threaten to secede from the union, the large Irish population, from the migration from the Ireland potato famine, went on a draft riot, mostly sparked by fears of dying for freed blacks that would take their jobs, as poor blacks were then publicly lynched in the streets of New York. Our heroes from the battle of Gettysburg were called into New York to baby-sit the Irish as the blacks coward in fear for their lives.
North America effectively imported slaves until there were millions of blacks vastly outnumbering their white southern task masters. As a result, it has taken a civil war, and race riots, and 150 years hence of social unrest to substantially rid our society of that problem of importing, in mass, a race of peoples who were not immediately assimilated into the American culture. That mass importation of slaves directly lead to a devastating civil war and almost a divided nation. We can only absorb so many immigrants within a given span of time, without devastating consequences. We have been there and done that. And now, there are growing race tensions between blacks and Hispanics in Los Angeles when eyeing limited employment opportunities. The minute men on the southern border are getting close to armed vigilantism, and John Brown's treason of 1859. Have we not learned anything? Are we blind?
These days, we have a porous southern border where millions of uneducated, unskilled, illegal immigrates are invading the US homeland, with no end in sight. While the compassion for the low income people is admirable, the present expansion of the welfare state, creating huge deficits, is merely laying out more bait for continued illegal immigration. The US constitution, that directly authorizes a standing army to prevent invasion, is being ignored, in contradiction of sworn oaths by law makers to uphold the constitution, another national disgrace, tantamount to treason.
I was channel flipping TV the other day and came across channel 7, KABC in Los Angeles, and heard a commercial in Spanish, first one I have ever heard on mainstream network prime time broadcast. I cannot channel flip the AM radio at all any more, as at least 50% of the stations are Latino, so the Latinos have effectively captured one entire media outlet in the Los Angeles market, that I do not visit any longer. Maybe KABC, a major network is going Mexican as well. I can just see the KABC nightly news anchors all wearing sombreros, backed-up by the TJ brass. I hope Mr. Bill OReilly does not speak Spanish, I would not want to turn him off as well, though I bet he would look good in a sombrero. I can not eat the cafeteria work food any longer, as all of it is now saturated with salsa, despite recurring objections, and so I have to bring my sandwiches and fruit to work each day. The cashier does speak English very well, and communicating over charge errors creates complications, so in stead, I have to use my broken Spanish to make up for the lack of communication. In my liberal state, California is now publishing, under state imposed directives, multilingual literature, to the deprivations of poor Americans needing assistance or tax relief. We should spend our US tax dollars to only support Americans furthering American culture, while encouraging the display of various other ethics cultures only within moderation, to have a wide diverse mix furthering tolerance.
Yet, in spite of it all, I don't have a prejudicial bone in my body, but you know, every time I see a head scarf on the streets, I think of 3000 dead in NY, and get outraged. And now, there are riots in Paris, and I am shocked. An open border with a generous welfare state spells doom in the long run. There is little from the Muslim leaders condemning this outrage as 400 towns burn in France, and spreading to England, Denmark, Belgium, and Germany, all with the same immigration problem. What a mess that I don't want here in the US, yet Muslim immigration is also on the rise as well, and they to do not readily assimilate with their jihadist mentality, and their cultural disdain for the infidels. I see and hear it all clearly, now, the deafening blaring of Jihad singing coming from the local mosque in downtown Laguna Beach California, signaling all to join in state imposed mandatory mid-day four-hour siestas.
Mexicans are not coming here for all the right reasons. Sure, I respect the dignity of work, but vast uncontrolled illegal immigration goes way beyond that sympathetic view. The illegal immigrants come here in the first instance to violate immigration laws. Crime is not one of the right reasons to come here. The illegal immigrants come here, not to readily assimilate but to promote their mexicanism in this country with their special studies, their bilingual education, their salsa food, their bilingual literature, their capture of AM radio, their capture of weak minded politicians, their Mexican flags in downtown LA or in Georgia, and their Cinco De Mayo, inter alia. Sure I like a little foreign culture in the mix, but not one that dominate over US culture. The illegal immigrants come here to peddle their drugs, to join gangs, degrade property values, and effectively to generate resentment, that will ultimately result to racial riots in the out years, when the US cuts back the hand outs. The illegal worker immigrants come here to simply earn money, not generally with their families to relocate and assimilate and waive the US flag, but to send their money back to Mexico, damaging increased trade. President Fox should build industry in Mexico with cheap labor for the US to exploit, so as to lift their economy, as the way it has been done for centuries. The border must be closed, with a US offer of generous recurring temporary work visas, without any amnesty.
I do not want East Los Angeles, Santa Ana, San Diego, or other southern US cities, from El Paso TX, to Denver CO, to Albuquerque NM, to Phoenix AZ, to go up in flames in the out years. I am tired of the poor-me victimization political card, or race based affirmative action, or the ruination of Americanism, or the political race card, or the weak-minded political pandering, or the eventual bigotry leading to violence and destruction and deaths that necessarily flows from an unrestrained importation of a vast number foreigners that are not readily assimilated into American culture, to only then leave that problem to my children to solve.
The GOP is destined to be marginalized by the inaction on the southern border. For the next decade, the issues that drive US politics will be WEDMI (Wed-Me), that is War, Economy, Deficit, Marriage, and Invasion. A recent FoxNews OReilly survey indicates that Americans, including the conservative base, do not believe that the current administration will get tuff on the US southern border. There is a lack of confidence that is building in the conservative circles. However, most Americans still believed that the Republicans have better leadership and vision over the Democrats who have no vision whatsoever, and simply spew their hate, while pandering any fringe group having a receptive ear.
We Americans deserve better than the lesser of two incompetent political parties. As in Raider Football, the cry seems to be, JUST WIN BABY, while the team is repetitively penalized for unsportman like conduct. I will not vote for the Republicans merely because they are the lesser of two incompetent evils, as does a vast numbers of Americans who simply choose not to vote at all. I recently received a request to contribute to the GOP again, but wrote back, only if President Bush closes the southern border. I will not support dereliction of duty, perceived as nearly treason.
As to WEDMI, the -E-conomy is miraculously holding strong but interest rates and inflation are rising spelling immanent stagnation, the -D-eficits remain unacceptably high, the -W-ar is not perceived as going well, the US government has failed to utterly stop the southern -I-nvasion, and has failed to pass a constitution amendment defining -M-arriage as between a man an a woman, though there is some good to come in the out years in packing the supreme court with conservatives. So as I see it, that is two marginal positives, and three bad negatives. That is simply an unacceptable report card for the current administration. I had not voted since President Reagan, and did not vote in the Gore v Bush election, as well, but when I saw the BOLD leadership of president Bush in Iraq, I crawled out of my hole, cut the check to the GOP, and pounded the payment on the streets three days a week for three months prior to the election Bush v Kerry, all by myself, in a sea of liberals, relearning childhood dodgeball skills from bottles being regularly thrown at me. The southern border needs to be shut down, and if it is not, and done soon, I will merely buy a gun, barricade the front door, defend my fortress, and crawl back into my happy little world, and leave you all to your pathetic selves.

She discovered that Harry (senator (D) from Nevada) Reid's great-great uncle, Remus Reid, was hanged for horse stealing and train robbery in Montana in 1889. Both Judy and Harry Reid share this common ancestor. The only known photograph of Remus shows him standing on the gallows in Montana territory.some personal work on her own family tree. In a corner hang photos of four reporters he has lost in the past eight years — one beaten to death, one allegedly poisoned, two shot — the most recent on Jan. 19.
It's not easy to put a paper out these days, Muratov says.

Before we leave Obama's farcical DC fly in hugging the Lincoln memorial, who was not the great emancipator 1/, who said "there are to many pigs for the tits" /2, as he also said that "democracy was the last best hope OF earth" 3/, we must remind Obama that he at anytime can try to muster the political consensus to ditch the Federal Reserve Bank, as President Wilson, said later "I have ruined the country" 4/, and Obama can correct that huge mistake, and Obama can turn us all so HARD-RIGHT, that we all meet in the middle and back to our constitutional roots.
President Lincoln went to the banks to borrow money to fund the civil war, but when he heard that the PRIVATE banks were charging large interest payments, he created the GREENBACK, 5/ which was TREASURY NOTE (not a FED reserve issued note), thereby avoiding interest payments and the banks' hammer lock control on the money supply through the collection of interest. As long as the IRS exists, which I hope would be abolished like the FED per THE PLAN 6/, (if you have been keeping up to date), required payment in FED FRNs (aka fiat dollar) will be had, thereby providing the dollar with an artificial inherent value, though its intrinsic value remains zero.
The entire system, that requires a MORTGAGE to buy a house, to enslave Americans to the banks for 30 FREAKING YEARS of interest PRACTICALLY YOUR ENTIRE ADULT WORKING LIFE, that requires TAXES be paid to the IRS in FRN fiat paper money, to be enslave Americans to the government less incarceration as a criminal cheat, and requires SOCIALISTIC over-spending to feed the ever increasing welfare state, to increase those taxes to increase our incarceration to the social system, the entire American complex has been geared to enslave Americans as peons to the socialistic political panderers that rule DC. The people have no clue. Pigs are pigs. Feed the pigs, and they happily live in a pig sty with freedom abandoned. Our government can break these chains of bondage any time, if it has the political will to do so, per THE PLAN, which is a far-reaching reactionary plan back to our constitutional roots.
Obama comes to office with severe monetary problems mostly created by that enslaving monetary system. He will become O-bomb-em-and-Spend, fighting terrorists and a spiraling out of control economy, with his short term solutions. But as a true American, an eternal optimist, I would ask that he step back, and get the big picture, and really become an American Hero, a great president beyond all measure of those who came before him, and perfect THE PLAN.
I doubt it of course, but as the global monetary system spirals out of control, temporarily sustained at times with a band-aid here and there, there are us real money believers who will keep the faith, and urge a return to real money. Walking Liberty is Real Money.
The highly respected and much followed analyst Peter Grandich, (one of my personal favorites) has recently penned a controversial letter entitled "Man Your Battle Stations", (http:// news.goldseek.com/ Grandich /1192464000.php). Mr. Grandich does an excellent job of highlighting geopolitical troubles about the world, and relates these troubles as bullish for bullion, rightly so, while indicating that geopolitical time bombs are ready to go off. In large measure, Grandich's global glass is less than half full. Mr. Grandich stated that "The middle east, soon to be front and center", but it already was. So what is new? It is not that it will be front and center, but rather, what are the long term directions, that should concern us all.
While Russian President Putin speaks in terms of peaceful Iranian nuke use, he does not press compliant sanctions, indicating, President Putin likes a little confliction in the oil fields, naturally so, as Russia builds an energy empire rivaling OPEC. The Russian double dutch seems clear, push up the price of oil. Unless you first recognize a problem, a militant nuke Iran, you can not seek a resolution. World focus upon the Iranian nukes was a first good step toward resolution, sanctions is another, war if necessary will be another, but the trick is to keep the pressure on so that something will crack. In terms of significance, Iran is the last significant nut to crack in global militancy, state sponsored terrorism, or naked aggression, as the world's globalization confluence is now being perfected. While Iraq has been difficult, the insurgency seems to be finally abating, with Sunnis now opposing Al Queda, and with democratic Kurds, Shia and Sunni facing off against theocratic Shia, hence the birth of true democratic political parties and constituencies. The Turks may do some spanking in Northern Iraq, justifiably so, the PKK is a terrorist organization, and spanking them would be a good thing. In Pakistan, things are finally starting to turn, with democratic Ms Bhutto entering Pakistan, forming an alliance with, of all things, strong man Musharrif, both now opposing extremists. Hello!! Did you get that, strong man Musharrif is bringing in the democrats!!! (He really has no choice, to solve his problem.) This is a very good thing. An injection of a democratic leader into Pakistan should be regarded as a long term positive, trying to civilize that disjointed and conflicted country. Burma and Nepal are in revolt, the democrats there want political power. China is now teaching North Korea, free market operation, WOW!, bringing another GAP nation into the fold of CORE cooperative nations, as nuke are being dismantled. Things are actually moving in the right direction, if you can see it all through the latest car bomb smoke.
So, there are two views, the other is that the glass is way more than half full. Maybe Mr. Grandich would like to go back in time, with his picnic basket, away from these very troubling modern days, and go back to Hitler's Germany, Armenian Genocide, Imperial Japan, Stalin's Soviet Union, Yugoslavia Genocide, you know, the good old days, where multi-million man international armies roamed over continents laying waste to swaths of lands murdering MILLIONS, except lets make sure they all have tactical nuke weapons, just to make sure gold goes sky high, supportive of your favorite share picks. But not to worry, gold will hit $35K/oz when all fiat is outlawed in about 2035 as the world becomes a real money economy, once again. Not to worry, again, your mine shares will do just fine.
Surely there are many hot spots that can be identified, but these, save a potential blockade of Iran (having some UN IAEA legitimacy, and hence would not be totally unilateral, especially when emboldened with a little French wine), are all intra-territorial disputes. Today, there is no pair of UN recognized nations with front line troops battling it out just now, hence, we now, this day, have a world without international WARS. Hello? Did anyone get that? As to intra-territorial disputes or insurgencies, there are many, mostly in the middle east, some in Africa, and some in Indonesia. The degree of insurgency, from armed uniformed insurgent armies, to mass murdering of civilians, to infrastructure terrorizing bombings, to debilitating national strikes, to disorderly rock-throwing protests, to civil demonstrations, and finally to the ballet box, is a civil disorder quantization along an insurgency continuum. As to this continuum, the operating point of a society within a territory is inversely related to the number of years that that society has had a functioning democracy. The USA, the longest living democracy, nearing flew apart in a civil war 80 years after democracy took hold here. It takes many many generations to learn the "democracy" culture of civility, and children do throw temper tantrums occasionally. There is an inverse correlation between intra-territorial civil disorder and the length of time the democracy is in place, as this thing, called democracy, is a learned culture. This learned culture possesses the ability to spew your counter-mantra into another's face, at the drop of the hat, yet, at the end of the debate, shake hands, and submit to majority rule, without firing a shot, the civil thing, which is a very difficult thing to do in theocratic, totalitarian, monarchial, or strong-man cultures.
The direction on earth is a very good one, if you believe the glass is half full, and the direction continues to this day, as we transit from war and FRNs to trade and gold. Nations would rather have political cover, share the costs, through a global organization. Allied Wars, Coalitions, NATO, and allied grouped militaries, (all being indications of the global confluence continued strength), are all precursor to UN peace keepers, as cops on the street, limited to intra-national insurgencies and civil disorder. Currently, the collapse of the FRN is merely a means to reduce foreigner's forex reserves so they pony up for their share in globalization by the US keeping trade lanes free, as a cost of doing business, and the US national debt will be reduced to zero, when gold finally replaces fiat globally in the far out years.
As to trade, the same affect occurs. As state controlled economies shift to free-market economies, ala China, more free trade agreements and packs are being had, as the trade wars heat up, with mutual multilateral trade agreements, just like the trend in multilateral international militaries used to perfect the global confluence of coalitions and UN peace keepers. Commercial free speech leads to political free speech, and all theocratic, monarchial, dictatorial, and totalitarian regimes will continue to have trouble, ultimately failing, because all do not provide a means of free political expression, and they will continue to give rise to new democracies, that will experience initial growing pains, as civil disorder, as the democratic culture is learned and becomes dominate eliminating wars and fiat in the out years.
In the out years, no longer will national militaries strike unilaterally, as the world becomes even more interconnected through the globalization confluence. Unfair competition will be ruled out concurrently by the global traders seeking fair competition, and that means gold will be the medium of exchange in the global confluence and economies. Before our every eyes, Mr. Grandich, war and fiat are being replaced by trade and gold, as the respective preferred tool and medium of global survival of the fittest, due to the inevitable march of political civility of cultural evolution through global confluent democratization and globalized free trade.
Sure, there are many insurgencies about the globe, but one needs to take a step back and look at the big picture. These insurgencies are merely the expected dust raised by the foot prints of "Walking Liberty", first recognized by President Lincoln, in the last paragraph of his 12/1/1862 address to congress, where he stated that our nation must not fail "as the last best hope OF earth", placing our civil war effort above merely preserving the union or freeing slaves, but that, democracy must not fail, as he was the first to recognize democracy as a global solution and hope to cement permanent peace in all conflicted peoples, "if followed". President Bush herald in "democracy century" effectively putting that 1862 recognition into the modern context, as a done deal, at this point in time, where democracies are catching hold and where there are no international wars. Putin was in Davos Switzerland crying to the G20 that the world must dump the US Dollar as the world reserve currency, that is, the Federal Reserve Note (FRN), that is not a constitutional silver dollar, but rather fiat paper money having an artificial inherent value based upon required IRS tax payments, and that has an intrinsic value of absolute zero. The US, once on the gold and silver standard, suckered the rest of the world into accepting these valueless paper notes for goods and services, who have all done so at their own peril. US citizens gave up the ghost in 1913 when President Wilson signed off on creation of the FED banks, and hence, stuck US citizens with that paper trash and surrender economic freedom to the Federal Reserve Bank, a privately owned bank, controlled not by the US government, but by domestic and foreign banks.
In the mean time, back in the Moscow, the Russian stock index is off a huge 70%, the Russian Ruble is in the tank at 36.1r/$, the Russian economy is slowing with rising inflation, with Putin's energy empire groping along at a mere 40$/barrow for oil, and now with riots breaking out, as in Moscow over superbowl weekend. In China, reverberations are had with charges and counter charges of currency manipulation as Obama's bullion hit man and new treasury chief Geithner fumbles the super power play and tics off the Chinese, the world largest foreign holder of US debt.
The world is plunging into depression as hot rhetoric flies back and forth, as the world economy spirals out of the control, with charges and counter charges of fault, and with banking defaults, as most nations attempt to devalue their fiat currencies attempting to maintain market share of foreign exports. One sad mess, all created by the use of inherently worthless fiat money, that put power in the hands of the banksters. Consequently, gold and silver bullion prices are on the rise during the financial turmoil and the panic now accelerating world wide, and bullion prices are likely to go ballistic in the near term, upward of $6000/oz by the end of Obama's presidential term.
Russia's Putin, China's Hu, and the EU's banksters apparently seek the demise of the US fiat dollar dominance as the world reserve currency. With Russia in the grip of strong-man rule, with Hu's communist party in totalitarian political control, and with the EU dominated by their left leaning socialists, they all had better be careful. They all might just get what they are asking for.
The global confluence of increasing interconnectiveness of all nations is continually increasing as human cultural evolution drives countries into more and more civil global cooperation leading to less war and no fiat money, being replaced by trade wars and bullion as the international medium of exchange. With calls of abandoning the US FRN as the world reserve currency, and with fiat money being devalued on a daily basis, there is only one practical alternative to the global fiat complex and currency mess facing the globe, and that is the long awaited return to real and honest money of gold and silver as the only global currency allowed and functioning as the only trusted medium of exchange between nations, businesses and persons, which would require a global UN world-wide treaty to perfect the reinstatement of the global gold/silver standard.
In Russia, commoners buy paper gold at the bank, having a counter party risk. Putin likes gold, but only for the Russian central banks. Not so in China, people can buy real gold and take physical possession. In the US, the US Mint is pumping out eagle coinage with demand skyrocketing of late, in the presence of bullion shortages at the local coin shops. In the EU, with Euro-gold and Pound-gold at all time highs, small bullion coins and wafers are practically all sold out.
The US FRN, the dollar, is only a note that is only redeemable in, (well you guessed it), more FRNs, the ultimate currency racket. There is no longer a promise to pay in any thing other than more of the same paper fiat money of zero intrinsic value. The US, in civilizing the world over the last century, has run an impressive national debt, essentially funded of late by foreign forex reserves, with social programs expected to multiply that debt in the coming years. Maybe its finally time to redeem those FRNs, such as at a redeeming rate of say, 1B$/oz of gold, to wipe out the US national debt over night, and stiff the foreigners, and thereby make them pony up for the cost of using free and safe trade lanes made safe by the US global military police actions over the last century. This of course would have bullion winners and FRN losers in the US.
In forcing all countries to redeem fiat money in bullion, those with notes and bonds denominated in fiat would be the big losers, while those holding physical assets, such as bullion, would be the big winners, yet economies world wide would be free of national debts, banker enslaving rate-controlling racketeering, with payments of a relatively small amount of gold to redeem the notes, and hence, the global currency and economic global reboot, back to lawful constitutional money.
Bullion as the medium of exchange prevents international unfair trade practices. Bullion in the hands of the folk places economic, and in turn political power, in the hands of the people. By moving away from targeted inflationary fiat use, used to sustain an every increasing welfare state, socialistic economies, military projections, and bankster control over our lives, government and the people will have to live within their means, and hence, jungle capitalism will resurface as socialistic programs become untenable. There would be a global rebirth towards smaller governments, toward more pure capitalistic economies, toward less banking enslaving control over the lives of the people. There would be, (for the first time) real and honest politicians, real and honest budgets, real and honest international trade practices, as political and economical power shifts from the governments and the banks to people holding real and honest money.
Those countries with large gold and silver mines (China, US, Russia, Australia, Canada), with huge domestic fiat debts (US), with low forex holdings and exposure (US), with sound infrastructures (US, Australia), with relatively going economies (US, China and Australia), and with a culture of free enterprise (US and Australia and Canada) will do the best. The US and Australia will be best situated for the transition. Russia's oil empire will keep Russia afloat. Russia's strong man rule would move toward free and fair press and democratic elections. EU would move away from socialistic spending in a continental rebirth of raw capitalism. China would get a boost to their economy, only after the FOREX shock, and will have growing economic free speech that always leads to political free speech that in turn would lead to democratization of mainland China over the out years.
Putin, Hu, EU, and the foreign central banksters had all better be careful here, they all may just get his wish, the demise of the US FRN global dominance, and with it, the demise of strong-man rule, totalitarian control, bankster money economic controls, and socialistic influences in market economies, as they pay back, through their forex collapse, the US for the costs of civilizing the world, while the people of the world, using real and honest money become the new power brokers of the new world order.

CAIRO – Saudi Arabia said Wednesday that 11 men released from the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay are now on the kingdom's most-wanted list despite having attended its touted extremist rehabilitation program.
President Barack Obama has signed an executive order closing the detention center at the naval base in Cuba, leaving countries scrambling over what to do with released detainees.
Saudi Arabia and terror experts defended the program for terror suspects, saying it is largely effective. The Pentagon has said it's unlikely to change its policy on prisoner transfers to the kingdom. Saudi Arabia, the birthplace of al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden and home to 15 of the 19 Sept. 11 hijackers, has pursued an aggressive campaign against militants but also sought to rehabilitate those it believes can abandon their violent extremist beliefs and reintegrate into society. These rehab programs — and the kingdom's assurances that they are effective — have been a major reason why most of the Saudis have been released from Guantanamo. Only 13 of the 133 Saudis detained there remain, said Saudi Interior Ministry spokesman, Gen. Mansour al-Turki.
"Besides the 11 people (on the wanted list) who came from Guantanamo, there are still 106 people who have gone through this rehabilitation program and are doing OK," al-Turki told the Associated Press by phone. Three others committed suicide in Guantanamo. The 11 were on a list of 83 Saudis and two Yemenis wanted for their connections to al-Qaida issued Monday by the Saudi government. The government knows where the rest of the 106 former detainees are. Among the 11 were two Saudis who have emerged as the new leaders of Yemen's branch of al-Qaida. The two appeared in a militant video last month calling for attacks against Arab governments and Western interests.
"Imprisonment only increased our persistence in our principles for which we went out, did jihad for, and were imprisoned for," Said Ali al-Shihri said during the video. Al-Shihri was jailed for six years in Guantanamo after his capture in Pakistan, and said he resurfaced as the branch's leader after completing the Saudi rehab program. The Saudi rehab program placed former Guantanamo detainees in secure compounds with facilities such as gyms and swimming pools. Imams gave them lessons on moderate Islam, and they met with psychologists and sociologists. Georgetown University terror expert Bruce Hoffman stressed that the vast majority of those going through the program have not rejoined extremist groups.
"I think it would be a mistake to view the program as a failure. Instead of looking at the 11, concentrate on the (others) who have not gone back to terror. ... I think the success has been remarkable," he said. The Pentagon also has said it is unlikely to stop prisoner transfers to Saudi Arabia. After the video of al-Shihri was released on extremist Web sites in January, Pentagon spokesman Navy Cmdr. Jeffrey Gordon said the U.S. sees the Saudi rehab program as admirable. "The best you can do is work with partner nations in the international community to ensure that they take the steps to mitigate the threat ex-detainees pose," Gordon said.

I have comtemplated a 6 carrier battle group blockade of Iran, with air wings and predator drone wings, but that may not be necessary, as a strong force right along the Iranian coast may be to risky, so stand off, with political support. Suppose CIA comes up with some sanction violations, real or made up, and OBAMA issues an inspection order to ENFORCE UN SANCTIONS, and places the fleet out near where the semoli pirates are operating, and stops all ships headed in toward Iran or out of Iran, as we need to stop all export of enriched uranium, and it TAKES MONTHS to search them all as they stand idle in the ocean just sitting there, effectively blockading but not called as such, through strung out iranian shipping delays (like what the Iranians did to the EU and UN and IAEA, pay back time) a couple of attack submarines could be used to sink a couple ships running the cordon, and with a declared search and seizure inspection cordon, (not actually calling it a blockade) may all that is needed to stifle exports/imports into/out of Iran, sufficient to tank the Iranian economy, giving rise to rebellion, and to enforce IAEA full compliance.
Call it an inspection cordon, for enforcing UN sanctions, and not an in your face blockade, but effectively doing the same, to enforce IAEA sanctions.

A Presidential Medal for Tony Blair
What could be more hurtful than a close friend's ingratitude? His gratitude — at least if you're Tony Blair and the buddy in question is George W. Bush. Later today in a ceremony in the East Room of the White House, Bush is set to dole out a Presidential Medal of Freedom to Blair, Britain's former Prime Minister. Blair has earned the bauble — previous recipients include Nelson Mandela and Doris Day — "for [his] efforts to promote democracy, human rights and peace abroad," according to the White House. Blair's spokesman seemed to tacitly acknowledge that Blair is being feted as much for the exercise of hard power as soft, describing the medal as a "great honor" that "reflects the true courage of the men and women of the British armed forces."
